Top Tips for Scoring Best Buy GPU Stock

Be signed into your account already. Although it may seem obvious, the first thing you'll want to do before any online restock is to already be signed in to your Best Buy account – or create an account, if you haven’t already.

Auto-save payment information. To save time when it counts, you should also have your payment details and address information pre-saved in the website’s system.

Sign up with an RTX 3080 stock tracker. The name of the game is staying alert. You’ll want to know when Best Buy drops more gpu stock, so you can act fast and beat the rush.

Your best bet is to sign up with Visualping to monitor any web page – including from Best Buy’s website, but also any other retailer – to monitor graphics card availability. When the “Back in stock” message pops up on the product page, Visualping detects it, and sends you a restock alert.

No longer in stock? Hang on. Once you’re able to add to cart, a message may appear saying the RTX 3080 is no longer in stock. Stay cool. Best Buy does this sometimes. In that case, immediately change your location to one that has the system in stock.

If the RTX 3080 is showing as out of stock everywhere, leave the page as it is and open a new tab. Repeat the process outlined above until the "add to cart" button appears again, then return to the original page you’d opened and try again to choose a location.

Why all the nonsense? Best Buy RTX 3080 restock is released in waves. So be patient – and diligent – if the site initially tells you it’s sold out during a restock event. Investing some time into the process could pay off, as others will likely give up and lose patience.

For receiving the code, opt for text. The retailer will also ask you to enter a code during the purchasing process, and you have the option for this to be sent via text or email. Always opt for text, as it’ll come through almost instantly. Email codes can take a while to come through or can get lost in a spam filter. By the time you recover it, the GPU will likely be out of stock again.

Visualping

How Does it Work?

When it detects a page change – such as the “Out of Stock” label being replaced with the “Add to Cart” option, – you get an email alert. The alert includes a screenshot of the web page, with all the changes highlighted for you to see.

There’s also a link, at the bottom of the alert, so you can navigate to your monitored page and make your purchase – promptly, before the discount or restock catches on and everyone else rushes to snag the product for themselves.

To check for changes, Visualping takes automatic screenshots of the product page at regular intervals – every 5 minutes, 30 minutes, hourly, daily, etc – and compares each image to the last to check for changes.

Is it Free?

Visualping is free, with several affordable subscription options for higher frequency monitoring. If you’re looking for a product as in-demand as the Xbox Series X, for instance, you can automatically check the page every 5 minutes.
