Domain Monitoring · Solutions plans

Monitor every page that matters on a website, without building the list

Name the website and describe the pages you care about. Visualping finds them, starts monitoring, pauses the ones that stop mattering, and rescans on your schedule.

Available with Solutions plans, on request. Set up with your Visualping team.

Solutions plans start at $3,000 a year.

How it works

One definition per website. Visualping does the rest.

Three steps replace the spreadsheet of URLs and the quarterly hunt for pages nobody added to it.

Name the website and describe what matters

Choose page types such as pricing, product pages, press releases, policies and legal, or regulatory updates, or write the definition in your own words.

Visualping scans the site and starts the right monitors

The scan follows the links likely to match, reads newly found pages within minutes, and creates a monitor for every page that fits your definition.

The set maintains itself

Rescans run daily, weekly, or monthly. New matching pages get monitors, pages that stop matching are paused, and pages that match again are resumed.

After the scan

Every page it finds becomes a normal Visualping monitor

Each matching page gets its own monitor with the schedule, notifications, and AI settings your team already uses. When a page changes, the alert opens with an AI summary and an importance flag, so an analyst sees the new pricing tier or the new rule in one line instead of re-reading the page.

Alerts go where your team works: email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Sheets, webhooks, and the API. Changes across every monitored page roll into Reports, so a weekly briefing can cover a whole competitor site or a whole regulator.

Housekeeping is handled. Duplicate addresses (http and https, with and without www, with or without a trailing slash) take one slot. A page you were already monitoring keeps its history; the scan adopts it instead of creating a second monitor. Scans themselves cost no credits; only the monitors they create run against your plan.

You decide what matters. Visualping finds it, watches it, and keeps the list current.

What every found page gets

  • An AI summary and an importance flag on every change
  • Alerts by email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Sheets, webhooks, or the API
  • A place in Reports, alongside every other monitor in the workspace
  • Its own change history, screenshots included
  • The schedule, labels, and AI settings your workspace already uses
Use cases

The websites teams cover with Domain Monitoring

One definition per site works the same for a competitor, a regulator, a partner, or your own domains.

Competitive intelligence

Catch a competitor's new product page before the launch post

Define product pages, pricing, and press releases once, and every competitor site reports new pages and changed ones on the same schedule.

Competitive monitoring with Visualping

Regulatory affairs

Find new guidance the day a regulator publishes it

Regulators publish a new URL for each notice, consultation, or enforcement action. Domain Monitoring picks them up on the next scan and starts watching them.

Partner and reseller compliance

Watch resellers and affiliates for policy drift

Terms, pricing claims, and brand use across hundreds of partner domains, without someone collecting the URLs by hand.

Market and investment research

Cover a company's whole site, from press room to careers

Press releases, leadership pages, product pages, and job postings as one feed of changes per company.

Agencies and research teams

Set up fifty client sites without fifty URL lists

Describe what matters once per site. New clients onboard in one setup instead of a page-by-page import.

Your own domains

Know when a page appears or goes stale on your own sites

Watch policies, pricing, and product pages across brands and regions, and see when a page drops out of the site.

Solutions plans

Built for monitoring programs that outgrew the URL list

Domain Monitoring is available with Solutions plans, on request. Solutions plans start at $3,000 a year.

Dedicated setup

Ask for Domain Monitoring and your Visualping team enables it for your account, configures the websites and definitions with you during onboarding, and tunes them as your coverage grows. Teams with developers can also create and update Domain Monitoring through the Visualping API.

Custom plan sizes

Solutions plans are designed around your number of pages, check frequency, and team workspaces, so a program covering thousands of pages across many sites has room to run.

Premium AI and starter packs

Custom AI prompts filter which changes are important, and page starter packs give you a curated list of pages for your use case or industry, ready to import.

Domain Monitoring FAQ

How Domain Monitoring works

How does Visualping decide which pages to monitor?

From your definition. Choose page types like pricing, product pages, press releases, policies and legal, or regulatory updates, or describe the pages in your own words. Visualping AI scores each page the scan reads against that definition. Matching pages become monitors; the rest are listed as found but not monitored.

How often does it look for new pages?

On the schedule you choose: daily, weekly, or monthly. A page the scan discovers is read within minutes rather than waiting for the next scheduled run. How deep the scan follows links and how many pages it reads per scan are set with your team.

What happens to pages that change or disappear?

Changes on a monitored page trigger a normal alert with an AI summary. A page that stops matching your definition, or that the scan can no longer find, is paused automatically, and a page that matches again is resumed. A monitor you created yourself on the same page keeps its history; the scan adopts it instead of duplicating it.

Does the scan follow links to other websites?

No. The scan stays within the website's own domain. Linked pages on other domains are left alone, so a competitor's site never pulls in its partners' sites by accident.

Does Domain Monitoring use my credits?

Scans cost no credits. The monitors they create run like any other monitor and count toward your plan's pages and checks, which is why Solutions plans size the plan around your program.

Plans and setup

Which plans offer Domain Monitoring?

Solutions plans, on request. Ask your Visualping team or talk to sales to have it enabled for your account as part of a new or existing Solutions engagement. On every plan, including Free, the Discovery tab suggests pages from a description and the Bulk tab imports a list you already have.

How do we set it up?

Ask for it, and your Visualping team enables Domain Monitoring for your account, sets up the websites and definitions with you as part of Solutions onboarding, and adjusts them later on request. Teams with developers can manage Domain Monitoring through the Visualping API as well.

Is this the same as WHOIS or domain-name monitoring?

No. Domain Monitoring watches the pages published on a website for new pages and changes. For registration, DNS, or expiry monitoring, read the Visualping guide to domain monitoring on the blog.

Can we remove a website later?

Yes. Removing a website removes the pages the scan found and every monitor linked to it, including any of your own monitors the scan adopted, so check with your Visualping team before removing a site.
